Marilynn Parker-Terry, a long-time resident of Evadale, Texas passed away Friday, December 15, 2017. Marilynn was born in 1941 in North-East Pennsylvania and resided in Evadale, Texas for the majority of her lifetime. Marilynn graduated from Buna High School in 1959, where she was known as “Our Yankee”. She was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church in Evadale, Texas serving as a Sunday school teacher for many years. Marilynn enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing, and especially playing with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Hugh Delane Terry and children: Kay Olds and Mike, Martin Terry and Mattlyn, and Bruce Terry. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Candice, Meagan, Chase, Laikyn, Kamri, and Brock, along with twelve great grandchildren: Jaden, Rylan, Nevon, Allie, Tynlee, Wrangler, Kai, Waylen, Harper, Avery, Macy and Quinton. Marilynn is survived by two sisters, Ellen Peters of South Dakota and Susan Black of Evadale. Marilynn was laid to rest on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of E.E.
