Cheryl Ann Stevens, 60, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017. Funeral service was Monday, September 11 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton with burial following at Seaman’s Cemetery in Chester. Born in Beaumont, she spent her career at Lumberton Independent School District. Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Plake and husband Patrick of Lumberton; son, Sean Stevens of Lumberton; brother, Roger Barker and wife Becky of Lufkin; sister, Kathy Beasley of North Carolina; and one granddaughter.
